Hello, I am Jamie.

Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out J. Simon Photography. I’m Jamie Simon, a small town girl that loves the city and the one behind the camera, located in Groton, SD. I love capturing so many different stages of life, but newborns and seniors are a strong favorite of mine. These are two stages of my own children’s lives that I have truly enjoyed. I have a wonderful husband and four growing kids. I love starting my day with a cup of coffee (or two). Music motivates me and I usually have it blaring in the studio. I’m a sports girl, and I enjoy riding motorcycle, camping, boating and I LOVE to vacation, to anywhere and at any time of year. 

My goal, when photographing clients, is that I capture exactly who they are at this stage of their life. I love a challenge and I love to be creative. I will ride on the back of boats, lay in the dirt or get in the water if it means getting the perfect shot.
